Opening for huge Window

Sunday the 25th of March was a slow day - old chimney for a wood stove was uninstalled from the living room ceiling and roof patched. It was a slow day because all the work on the roof was done in a climbing harness. Yesterday Paula's brother Dave (D1) removed the old header above the existing picture window in the living room and a new header installed for the new window to be installed in a month or so - it will be a huge eight foot long (same as the old window) but seven feet high!

Once the trees are removed, a spectacular view of Southy and Maude Islands and Mount Baker in Washington State will open up!
